Brilliant stay in this hotel. Overall terrific staff and rooms. It was a breathtaking area, a great place for me. Smooth check-in, late check-out.
-
Such a truly memorable experience. It was spotless, the staff was delightful, plus the service was helpful. The breakfast here was awesome with a drink and meal.
Downside was the air conditioning which was a bit noisy.

Absolutely fabulous position, I liked staying in this place.
First class place, great for new year. I got ample, absolutely brilliant room with incredible bed. Magical hotel with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Besides, free wifi throughout the property was an unexpected bonus. The property was close to the airport - 28 minutes drive.

The Savoy is very well staffed, well trained, polite, helpful and caring for the guest. Particularly noteworthy is a waiter at breakfast in the " Winter Garden", who was really lonely top in his interest in the guest. Another pleasant event was the "afternoon tea" with a piano player in the centre of the room. The service was first class, the food too. Fascinating was also the matching of the patterns of dishes and cloth napkins, which had obviously been made to match.
Our room (luxury double to the quiet !!! inner courtyard) was filled with a humming sound during the day and in large parts of the night, which did not come from the AC, as we had first assumed, but from a metal exhaust air shaft of the entire hotel installed next to the room. There were several rooms on all floors of this area. It turned out that the closed windows did not close tightly and at the beginning, a strip of a width of approximately 1 cm was left free, after the housekeeping was applied, the obviously old windows closed a little better but still not completely tightly, the frame and the window sash did not fit properly into each other. At the departure we got a discount of 20% for one night. A lady responsible for such matters was infinitely sad about this circumstance, apologized several times in perfect form and promised an upgrade on a future visit. The latter she could do without any danger, because we will not visit the Savoy anymore. The water pressure in the toilet was so insufficient that large parts of the bowl were not flushed. Housekeeping: problem was known and could not be solved.

I liked absolutely everything, excellent location, excellent service, chic interior.
It's a little cold in the room.

Attention to detail in the rooms. Great room facilities such as bathroom and Savoy bed. Quick response to queries on phone. Fabulous bars and restuarants within hotel. Gracious and helpful staff. Good facilities . Wonderful location . Something very special. One day but you feel like it's longer!

I loved the fact that the hotel called me 24 hours before to confirm the reservation, and any special requests. It was my husband's birthday and they let us a note and a piece of cake in the room. A small touch but really lovely.
The layout in the room was not wonderful. There was no soft chair to sit in so either you sat on the desk chair or on the bed. The bathroom door was not a full door but split in half and right behind it was the toilet, so you needed to be very comfortable with any partner you were sharing with!

The Service was exceptional and effortless. One of the best locations to stay in London. The hotel was immaculate and stylish.
I liked everything about the Hotel

My husband and I loved our stay at The Savoy. Our room was georgous the staff were lovely and helpful. I had booked the hotel as a birthdat surprise and in our room the staff had put a birthday cake which we thought was a brilliant touch

Really a six star hotel - a league above other 5 star hotels I have been to. From the moment we arrived (on our honeymoon) at the airport (picked up by a fabulous car and friendly chauffeur we had booked through the Savoy) to the moment we arrived back at the airport to travel home everything was perfect. The arrivals service is second to none - car door opened for you, you just walk in and the hotel staff is waiting for you as soon as you are through the door (no reception desk here), shows you around the hotel and then to your room. Incredibly slick and friendly. Our own butler (well not just ours but felt like it) then arrived to our room and asked when we would like champagne to be chilled for the evening and took items to be ironed for the evening. In the evening the champaign was waiting in ice, and even a complimentary celebration cake, the room was beautifully prepared for bed with rose petals placed in a heart shape. I could go on an on, every aspect of service was far beyond my part experience or expectations. As for the hotel itself, it is so very beautiful, luxurious and of the highest quality in every respect. The room (we were even upgraded) was wonderful and large with a beautiful and spacious living room with river views, and small details such as a beautiful silver hand-made clock on the bed side table making it even more special. The bed was also like a dream. Above all, the staff were without doubt the most friendly, welcoming, helpful and diligent I have ever experienced. I have travelled to literally hundreds of hotels, including some of the best, but this topped the lot. A truly perfect honeymoon experience.
